We were one of the UK's first business schools to include a year-long placement as a built-in part of our degrees. For you, it means the chance to get some practical experience under your belt, build sought-after skills and get a heads-up in the jobs market.

We work with hundreds of organisations worldwide, which means there’s a lot of choice for potential placements.

It’s up to you to secure your own placement, but our dedicated Placements Office has an exceptional success rate in helping students find the perfect opportunity. The team will be on hand to help you with the whole process, from support with applications, interviews and assessment centres, to making the most of the placement itself.

Every year we see students who go on placement come back more confident, mature in outlook, ready for responsibility and more focused on their career goals.

Finding out about placements

Our dedicated Placements Office will be on hand to help you with finding a placement.

You’ll also be able to meet potential employers at events on campus including:

  • one of the UK’s largest annual careers fairs, attended by over 200 employers;
  • regular employer presentations, skills sessions and drop-ins throughout the year.
