Timetabling and Teaching Room booking
Timetabling
Students and staff are encouraged to use the links below to view their University timetables.
Cancellations and room changes are instantly reflected in the timetables, and users can view the timetable by the current week, the following week or the full Semester.
The timetable is always subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances. Students and staff are advised to check their personal timetable at least once a week.
Please note, student and staff timetables are also available through the mylboro app.
Teaching Room Booking
The Central Room Booking Team is responsible for the booking of non-teaching activity into pool teaching rooms.
Bookings can be made by University staff, registered student organisations, and external organisations. Pool teaching room bookings are not accepted directly from students (see guidance on LSU student bookings), however students may use teaching rooms for study when not in use.
For enquiries regarding existing bookings or to book a teaching room please contact us.

How to book a Teaching Room
To request a room booking, please use the link to the Room Booking Form.
For more complex bookings such as Open Days, Visit Days, Examinations etc, email your request directly to the Rooms Inbox at rooms@mailbox.lboro.ac.uk and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Room Booking Policy
To ensure fair and efficient use of shared spaces, we are developing a comprehensive Room Booking Policy, which will be available soon. Once published, it will outline guidelines for booking requests and other relevant procedures, enhancing accessibility and transparency.
Teaching Room Booking Availability During Semester Dates
Please note that teaching room availability for non-teaching events is limited during term time to prioritise academic needs. Below is a breakdown of when pool teaching rooms become available:
Semester 1 (October–January):
Rooms for non-teaching bookings are generally released in mid-September.
Semester 2 (February–May):
Rooms for non-teaching bookings are generally released in mid-January.
This scheduling practice ensures that teaching requirements are prioritised before teaching rooms are allocated for other uses. If you have a non-teaching event planned during these times, we recommend you email closer to the release dates to secure your booking.
Non-centrally Managed Room Bookings
The process for booking a school-managed or Outlook meeting room varies based on the event type and room management. Please refer to the guidelines below for different booking categories:
Booking for Teaching Events
If your event is a teaching activity linked to a module code, you will need to contact the Timetabling Officer for your specific school.
Outlook Workspaces/Meeting Rooms
Please use Microsoft Outlook’s Resource Booking feature. This platform allows you to check room availability and make bookings for certain Meeting Rooms within Outlook. For more information on how to book these rooms, visit the Outlook Resource Booking Guide.
School-Managed Rooms
Some rooms on campus are managed directly by individual schools rather than by the Central Room Booking Team. To reserve a school-managed room, please contact the relevant school administration office.
Loughborough London Campus Bookings
If you need to book a room at the Loughborough London campus, please email Rooms London or complete the London Room Booking Request Form.
For any further assistance or specific inquiries, please do not hesitate to contact the Central Room Booking Team.
