Peter Crabtree

He was a member of the football team that won the 1949 UAU cup, scoring a goal in the 3-0 over Manchester University, his performance winning him a place in the Combined Universities team.

He taught P.E in Ysgol Ardudwy, Harlech, from it's opening in 1957 until 1973 and remained teaching there until retirement in 1983. Attendance at the Loughborough University Centenary Graduation Celebrations in 2009 to receive an honorary BSc was a very proud moment for him.

He passed away peacefully a few weeks short of his 99th birthday and is survived by his wife Pat.
