Alumnus Adam Rowlatt (Sport Biomechanics 2023) is part of Secondary Fun, a team of five rowers embarking on an extraordinary journey across the Atlantic Ocean.

Secondary Fun are aiming to row 3,000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean and set a world record for being the youngest group of five to do this.

Adam is rowing alongside Ollie Hamilton, Oliver Pickwell, Jamie Kidd and James Leetch.

The team hope to raise £125,000 for Mind, Dementia Adventure, and T-21, supporting mental health, dementia care, and opportunities for young adults with Down's Syndrome.

The Secondary Fun team members are united by personal connections to these causes. This UK and Singapore-based team will face immense challenges, including 30-foot waves and vast isolation, all for a mission which goes beyond physical endurance.
