Alumni inspire future students in India pre-departure events

In early June, the University hosted offer holder events in Bangalore, Mumbai, and Delhi.

The events gave future students a taste of university life through informative presentations and alumni also shared their experiences. Alumni who participated in these events included: 

Bangalore

Mumbai 

  • Prishma Jain (M.B.A. Business Administration 2017) 
  • Kiran Salunkhe (M.Sc. Sport and Exercise Psychology 2023) 

Delhi  

  • Sahil Jain (Accounting and Financial  2008) 
  • Aman Dhall (M.Sc. Sport Management 2011) 
  • Vishwa Vaghela (M.Sc. Construction Management 2022)  
  • Basheerahmad Shadrach ( Ph.D. Information Science 2004) 

Discussions focused on several key topics for students transitioning to life in a new country. Participants shared their experiences on the challenges of settling down abroad and the adjustments required to adapt to different teaching methods compared to those in India. They also offered practical advice on packing essentials and what to leave behind. 

Furthermore, alumni shared information about the diverse student societies that new students can join, promoting a strong sense of community and active participation.
