Our campus is just two miles from junction 23 of the M1 motorway and there are clear signposts on all the other main approach roads to Loughborough.

Parking
Parking will be free of charge for Open House guests, however, you will need to register your car as being on campus. You can Prebook before you get here, or you can use the QR codes available on site to register (use the location ‘Loughborough University Events’). Use the code OHAUG24 for free parking.
There is reserved parking for visitors for the Open House event in Car Park 5, which is a short walk from the James France Building. Student ambassadors will be on hand to help you find the building.
Accessible parking for visitors requiring disabled parking can be found in Car Park 18 outside the Brockington Building next to the James France Building.

Travelling by coach or bus
Coach and bus services to and from other parts of Leicestershire and the UK have stops in Loughborough town centre and outside campus.
You can travel by National Express, Megabus or regional bus services to and from Loughborough.
Travelling by train
Regular services operate between Loughborough and other main line towns, including daily trains to and from London St Pancras International in as little as 1 hour 16 minutes.
You may be able to buy a combined train and bus ticket which incorporates the bus journey to and from the railway station. Just select Loughborough University Bus (XLO) when booking on websites such as The Trainline and East Midlands Railway.
Taxis are also usually available at the station.
Travelling by plane
East Midlands Airport is only 7 miles away and offers both domestic and international flights.

Getting around
We think the best way to get around our campus is on foot – there’s so much to take in and it enables you to really get a feel for our beautiful green surroundings.
Campus shuttle
You can also hop on and off the buses as often as you like – they are free to use throughout the day. All the buses have a drop-floor and are accessible for wheelchair users and prams.
The bus service has plenty of drop off points across campus, including to and from car parks.
