Why choose Loughborough?

Triple-accredited

We’re consistently ranked as a top 10 university in national league tables. We also hold triple-accreditation from AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA. (It’s a triple-stamp of approval, which means you’ll be getting the highest quality of education, from teaching and research to student support and facilities).

Turning theory into practice

We offer more than just a degree. Our courses are designed to meet the needs of industry – influenced by our experience with hundreds of global corporate partners and the ground-breaking research of our internationally renowned academics. You’ll be working with partners and researchers who are out there making a difference – and can help you do the same.

We were one of the first business schools to embed a year-long paid placement for all our business undergraduates. You’ll have the chance to test out your skills and get hands-on experience in a relevant organisation, giving you an extra heads-up in the jobs market. Around a third of placement students are offered a graduate job with their placement employer.

You could also spend the year studying abroad, or spend six months on placement and six months studying abroad.

Or if you have aspirations to set up your own purpose-led venture, you can spend a year focusing on that as part of our 'Year in Enterprise' scheme.

Opening up a world of possibilities

Whatever you choose to study with us, you’ll gain a fantastic grounding in the fundamentals of your subject while also learning about new, more purpose-driven ways of working. You’ll develop sought-after skills and confidence you can take with you, whether you go on to make your mark in an organisation, or choose to set up your own.

Our courses open up a wide range of career paths, from general management positions in the private or public sector, to specialist roles including consultancy, financial analysis, or as a functional specialist in areas such as branding, marketing, procurement, sales or human resources.

Many leading employers specifically target our students for their graduate recruitment schemes. Just some of the employers our graduates are now working with include Accenture, Amazon, Deloitte, EY, IBM, KPMG, Microsoft, NatWest and PwC.
