Portfolio requirements

All Clearing applicants for our BA Design, BA Industrial Design, or BSc Product Design and Technology courses will be required to submit a portfolio for review by our highly skilled academic staff. Further details relating to this process will be communicated to Clearing applicants via our dedicated Design Admissions team.

Due to the fast-flowing nature of the Clearing process, please ensure that your design portfolio is ready to submit (preferably in PDF format and no more than 20MB in size.) Doing so will allow the Design Admissions team to expedite the review process.

We also recognise that everyone has had a different experience of design before wishing to join Loughborough. Just remember that the design portfolio is a visual mechanism through which you can evidence and communicate the various aspects of your design capability and potential. Showcase who you are, your experiences, and current skill set.
