A self-proclaimed eccentric hailing from the sunny hills of Devon, Richard graduated from Loughborough University with an MChem, concluding with a project optimising sodium aluminium hydride synthesis methods for mobile hydrogen fuel storage applications. He has since joined Dr Buckley's team as a PhD student.
In his spare time, Richard is an avid scholar of the works of J.R.R Tolkien, history fan and hobbyist writer. He has previously applied the skills gained to work professionally in editing tabletop RPG rulebooks.
Current project is the optimisation of electrocarboxylation and plasma carboxylation synthesis routes for sustainable industrial production.
