The Midlands Spinout Showcase
Forging Ahead is a Champion Partner for the first day of East Mids Tech Week this summer, showcasing university spinouts at 'The Investment Show'.
Forging Ahead is delighted to be able to provide this opportunity to showcase spinouts from across the Midlands and our 16 partner Universities.
Taking place as part of the first ever East Mids Tech Week, this free-to-attend event will be held in the heart of our region at Derby's Vaillant Live.
What you can expect on the day
Spinout Spotlight Session | 10:45–11:30am | Main Stage
This session will provide a great opportunity for four companies from our East Midlands partner universities to showcase, raise their profile, and attract investment.
They will be joined on stage by Prof. Dan Parsons, Research and Innovation Pro Vice-Chancellor at Loughborough University, and Rajinder Bhuhi, Forging Ahead Manager.
Spinout Expo Space | 08:00 - 16:30 | First Floor
A space for Midlands Spinouts to showcase and display their game‑changing tech products.
