Climate Café and Empowerment Workshop

About this event

Are you concerned about the climate-nature crisis? Are you unsure what role you can have? Do you want to meet like-minded people and explore what solutions we can create?

This interactive and empowering session will be an opportunity for you to:

• connect with others at the University who want to be part of the solutions
• explore and feel supported with your emotions and aims around sustainability
• visualise solutions and feel empowered in your unique pathway and impact.

The session will include a 90-minute workshop facilitated by sustainability charity, Change Agents UK. Come along for a guided discussion and activity to explore our current state and connection to global challenges.

We will create a personal and shared vision of what the future could look like, and what role we want to play in creating it.

• 11am-11.30am: Free hot drinks and networking
• 11.30am-1pm: Guided workshop

This is an inclusive, open and welcoming session, and clear principles will be set to ensure this can be maintained. We recommend attending the full session, but if this isn’t possible, please let the team know and they can cater to your availability.
