Diwali Dinner and Dance

Celebratory dinner and dance for Diwali 2022 serving non-veg and vegetarian 3 course meal. Bar will be open for purchasing drinks.

Starters

  • Chicken Tikka (Greek yogurt, chicken breasts, lemon, ginger, cinnamon)
  • Fish Pokora (White fish, bengal gram flour, lime juice, chili powder, deep fried)
  • Papad Bhelpuri (Puffed rice, fennel, green chutney, tamarind paste)
  • Mixed veg starters ( Veg Samosas / Veg Pokora / Veg Spring Rolls ) (Fried pastry with mixed vegetables fillings)
  • Accompaniment: Boondi Raita / Pickles / Papad / Mango Chutney

Mains 

  • Mehti Chicken (Chicken, methi leaves, garam masala, tomato, kasuri methi)
  • Lamb Rogan josh (Lamb, tomato paste, garam masala, ginger, diced tomatoes)
  • Dhal Makani (it is made with urad dal and other pulses, and includes butter and cream)
  • Kadhi Panner (paneer and bell peppers are cooked in a spicy masala sauce.)
  • Surti Undo (Undhiyu, a traditional Gujarati curry prepared with many fresh vegetables and dhokli muthiya, is a must have item on festivals)
  • Pilao Rice (Basmati rice, cinnamon, olive oil, bay leaves, cardamom pods)
  • Naan (enriched dough composed of wheat flour, plain yogurt, water, egg, vegetable oil, and yeast)

Desserts

  • Kulfi Ice Cream (typically made of condensed milk (milk and sugar) and flavourful ingredients including saffron, cardamom, rosewater, mango and pistachio)
  • Jalebi (Corn flour, saffron, lemon juice, plain yogurt, baking soda)
