New University Car Parking System - Update

The final stages of user testing for our new staff parking system have taken place and we remain on schedule to launch the system to colleagues in early September.

Colleagues will be contacted with full details in due course, including how to register on the system.

Colleagues will have the option to automatically pay daily on entry to the campus (recommended option) or by monthly permit. Both options have a cost ceiling no greater than current charges. Grades 1-3 will continue to receive parking free of charge but will still need to register their vehicle.

We have listened to and are grateful for the feedback from staff through August and have developed a comprehensive set of FAQs. Full details of the project changes and FAQs.

Warnings rather than Parking Charge Notices (PCNs) will be issued through September and October 2023 to vehicles parked outside of parking bays. The warnings will include details that charges are being introduced.

Full signage will be installed across all car parks to support the plans and the details will be managed in line with the phasing in of the new charging arrangements. Alongside this, several parking machines will be installed to give further payment options to those visiting.

Please send any questions to parking@lboro.ac.uk.
