Action Required: Annual Conflict of Interest Declaration

To ensure we are operating to the highest ethical standards, staff on grade 6 and above must complete an annual Conflict of Interest declaration in my.HR.

This is a requirement in the updated Conflict of Interest Policy. All staff are still required to declare and manage existing and new conflicts as they become apparent throughout the year. The definitions of different types of Conflicts of Interest can be found by visiting the Guidance page. 

Why this matters 

The annual Conflict of Interest declaration for staff grade 6 and above is a point-in-time check that helps ensure potential conflicts are identified and managed transparently. Even if you do not have a current conflict, it is important to submit a declaration to confirm this.  

Disclosing conflicts beforehand allows individuals to confidently perform their duties, knowing that any potential issues are being managed appropriately.

What You Need to Do 

Please check and update your personal details and submit your declaration in my.HR by 31 July 2024: 

  1. Log in to My.HR. 
  2. Navigate to the "View Profile" or "My Profile" section. 
  3. Under Confidential Information, select "Sensitive Information and Conflict of Interest". 
  4. Update your personal details. 
  5. Under Additional Fields, complete the Conflict of Interest questions. 
  6. Press "Save" to submit the annual declaration.
