The event welcomed over 80 people from across the University to network and celebrate women at Loughborough.  

There was a science-based activity for kids as well as presentations from the Maia committee including co-chairs Henrietta Pocock and Gemma Towle.  

New network sponsors, Professor Rachel Thomson and Veronica Moore were introduced and discussed their experiences as women and their career journeys. 

This was also an opportunity to award certificates to colleagues nominated for the Inspiring Women Awards. Every year Maia members nominate their colleagues for Inspiring Women Awards, celebrating their achievements both at work and at home. This year's categories were 'Action', 'Belonging and Inclusion' and 'Cohesion'.
