Expressions of interest now open: Chair of the University Arts Committee

Following Professor Cees de Bont’s departure from the University, we are now seeking expressions of interest for a new Chair of the University Arts Committee.

Arts and Culture are an integral part of our staff and student experience and enrich our campus in many ways. The selected candidate will play a key role in delivering our ambitions for arts and culture as outlined in the Culture and Creativity Strategic Plan which was published earlier this year.

The Arts Committee meets three times a year and reports to Senate. The appointment will be for a three-year term and the Chair will support and advance the outputs outlined within the Terms of Reference. View the current membership and Terms of Reference.

Please forward a short expression of interest (no more than 300 words) to Louisa Todd L.Todd@lboro.ac.uk by Friday 14 June.  Selection will be made by a small group chaired by the Vice-Chancellor, who will review the expressions of interest. The appointed candidate will commence the role at the next meeting in October 2024.
