The new version will launch at 8am on 20 September 2024.

Please do not submit any routine jobs from today. If you have an emergency or urgent maintenance issue from now until the launch, please email FMhelp@mailbox.lboro.ac.uk or call 01509 222121 and the team will manage this.

Current jobs on the Archibus system

The majority of outstanding jobs in the current version will be removed and Schools and Departments will need to resubmit these in the new system. We ask colleagues to review their outstanding jobs in the system over the coming days and to note anything that needs resubmitting on or after 20 September.

Our Maintenance teams will continue to complete works in the current system which are linked to residential spaces ahead of student arrivals where the works are achievable, alongside any emergency works, as well as those in the current system which are ‘on hold for parts or labour’. All other jobs will be removed.

New Archibus MS Teams Channel

A new MS Teams channel has been created for all Archibus users called ‘Archibus - Community of Practice’. Colleagues will be added to this channel from next week and be able to access training materials. In addition, this channel will be used to communicate changes and share ideas and future developments.

Training

A range of training manuals and video guides have been created to support the new system rollout and these can be accessed on the MS Teams Channel. A number of drop-in sessions will be offered the week commencing 23 September and further details will follow for those requiring in-person support.

Feedback and contacts

Please be mindful that this has been a significant project to deliver and there may be some initial challenges or omissions which may surface after the new system launches. Colleagues are asked to give feedback on any matters that arise, and the project team will attend to these in a timely manner.
