As a doctoral student in the School of Design and Creative Arts at Loughborough University. I am thrilled to participate in this exhibition, as the theme resonates deeply with me. As a researcher in the field of cross-cultural studies, I have a profound appreciation for inclusivity.

The theme, 'Vibrant & Inclusive Communities,' strikes a chord with my academic and personal interests. I firmly believe that art, as a non-verbal language, has the power to transcend linguistic and cultural barriers. Every individual interprets art through the lens of their own experiences, making the inclusivity and vitality of art boundless.

My experience at Loughborough University over the past year has reinforced this belief. I have witnessed the university's dedicated efforts towards equality and diversity. It's heartening to see an academic institution that actively fosters an environment where students from diverse backgrounds can thrive and contribute to a vibrant and inclusive community.

My academic journey, combined with my passion for the theme, has inspired the artwork I've chosen for this exhibition. I hope that through my art, I can convey the message that inclusivity knows no bounds, and that art, as a universal language, can play a pivotal role in fostering understanding and harmony among people from all walks of life.

In a world where divisions can often seem insurmountable, I see art as a bridge, a means to bring people together, to celebrate our differences, and to create a more vibrant and inclusive society.
