I am really proud to be the first woman engineer of minority ethnic origin appointed by the Lord Chancellor to the Agricultural Land Tribunal for Wales.
The first and only woman to hold eight professional qualifications concurrently in the UK:

- Chartered Surveyor FRICS
- Chartered Construction Manager MCIOB
- European Engineer Eur Ing
- Member of the Chartered Institute of Housing CIHM
- Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators FCIArb
- Fellow of the Royal Society of Art FRSA
- Fellow of the Higher Education Academy FHEA
- The first female chair of the Chartered Institute of Building in Leicester
I am also very proud of my other achievements, which include:
WISE/UKRC Woman of Outstanding Achievement Tomorrow’s Leader Award in 2011 for inspiring others to provide leadership and innovation in diversity.
Winner of Telegraph/WES Top 50 Women in Engineering 2018. Recognised for going above and beyond in a professional capacity across engineering, legal and education.
My PhD from Open University attracted an Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award from Phi Delta Kappa.
