To me, being bisexual means that I no longer feel guilty for being attracted to the same sex.

Throughout my years growing up I had always been told that being even remotely attracted to the same sex was wrong and that I shouldn’t even think about it, but since accepting my identity all the feelings of guilt and self-disgust dissipated.

Coming to Loughborough has helped me realise that I wasn’t alone in my sexuality, and that there are so many people like me; a lot of whom I have surrounded myself with and are now some of my closest friends.
