Accredited Leicestershire Tour Guide Ernie Miller will be leading the tours across the University Campus. The Mayor and Mayoress of Charnwood will also be attending the local community day.
Dr Robert Knight, from the Department of Politics, History and International Relations, said: “This will be a great occasion for local history groups, and anyone interested in history to catch up with what's going on historically in the area and talk about its future direction.
“There'll be a range of interesting speakers, stalls and authors talking about their books, as well as a historical tour of the campus. All welcome!”
The event is free to attend and everyone is welcome, refreshment and bar meals will be on sale throughout the day.
