Loughborough University announces its new Chief Financial Officer
Loughborough University has appointed Alexandra Owen FCA as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Currently the CFO and Trustee at St Andrew’s Healthcare, Alexandra has a wealth of experience in financial leadership and will join the University in April.
Prior to her role at St Andrew’s, she was the Finance Director at both MAXIMUS People Services Ltd and Remploy Ltd, organisations within the health and employment services sector that provide skills, training, employment support, and workplace wellbeing for disabled and disadvantaged people.
Alexandra has also served as the Head of Financial Services and Reporting at United Learning, one of the largest groups of schools, academies, and free schools within the UK.
Speaking about her appointment the University’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor Nick Jennings, said: “We are delighted to welcome Alexandra to Loughborough. Alexandra’s appointment is a key step in the delivery of the forthcoming new strategy and broadening the role to encompass the strategic oversight of our commercial activity, including the Science and Enterprise Park, will be a real game changer to the University. Alexandra’s passion and experience shone through in interview, and I look forward to welcoming her in the spring.”
