An agreement between the Fulbright Commission and Loughborough University offers the opportunity for a US Postgraduate research student to receive a fully-funded 3 year studentship. Applications are made via your Home University in the US, with a deadline in early January. You will need a letter of support from us as part of your application, so get in touch early to discuss potential projects.

Awarded to women from developing and emerging countries to pursue PhD research in STEM subjects. Applications typically open from September - November.

This is a three-year studentship covering UK tuition fees and a stiped, and is a fantastic opportunity for those who want to pursue research alongside their sporting development.

The Sports Development Centre nominate individuals who are competing in Loughborough performance programmes, who are either targeting a major senior international event, have a realistic opportunity of competing at senior international level within 18 months, or who can demonstrate the potential to make a significant contribution to Loughborough’s sporting success.

Both open and responsive mode offered. There are no upper limits on time-since-PhD and applications are welcome from those who have followed non-traditional pathways into research, or who need to work part-time. Applications expected to open around May - July.
