Professor Ye Zhou

Professor Ye Zhou is a Distinguished Professor in the Institute for Advanced Study, Shenzhen University, China. He was elected as Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC) in 2021, Fellow of the Institute of Physics (FInstP) and Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (FIET) in 2022.
He received his B.S. from Nanjing University, M.S. from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and Ph.D. from City University of Hong Kong. His research interests include nano materials and nano-scale devices for neuromorphic electronics. He holds 25 granted USA/China patents and has published more than 200 papers in journals such as Science, Chemical Reviews, Nature Electronics, Nature Communications, Advanced Materials, etc. More than 50 of his works have been highlighted as cover pages or frontispieces. He sits in the Editorial/Advisory Board of Materials Horizons, IEEE Access, The Innovation, Vacuum, STAM, etc.
During their IAS Fellowship, Professor Zhou is collaborating with Dr Yi Liu from the Department of Materials.
