Concordat Implementation
Concordat to Support the Career Development of Researchers
The University is committed to implementing the principles of the Concordat to Support the Career Development of Researchers. As part of this commitment, the University maintains a Concordat Action Plan, and this is externally and internally reviewed through the process of applying for the European Commission’s HR Excellence in Research Award.
Loughborough University first received international recognition for this in 2010, and the award was renewed following external review in 2014 and 2018 and most recently following internal review in 2021, acknowledging alignment with the principles of the European Charter for Researchers and Code of Conduct for their Recruitment.
