Professor Jan Godsell is Dean of Loughborough Business School and a Professor of Operations and Supply Chain Strategy with a long and influential career, which has been split between both industry and academia.  

Professor Godsell has advised government and industry on supply chain strategy, and its relationship to industrial and business strategy. She has served on numerous advisory boards and is currently a member of the Made Smarter Expert Panel and Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund Advisory Group, alongside a role as Co-director of the ESRC funded InterAct Network.

Neil Ashworth is an Independent Chair, Non-Executive Director and advisor with extensive senior leadership experience across logistics, retail, and supply chain organisations in both the public and private sectors.

He holds board and advisory roles with We Are Fulfilment, Parcel2Go, 2San Global, NotLost and REAL Leaders. Most recently, he led the UK Government’s National Covid-19 Testing Programme, overseeing the delivery of a large-scale national testing capability. Previously, he served as CEO of Collect+ and as Chief Commercial and Strategy Officer at Yodel, bringing digital retail thinking into the parcel delivery sector.

Dr Yasmine Sabri is an Associate Professor in Supply Chain Management at the UK Supply Chain and Logistics Excellence (SCALE) Centre at Loughborough University, part of the MIT Global SCALE Network in partnership with MIT Center for Transportation & Logistics. She leads curriculum development across degree and executive education programmes, working closely with industry partners to ensure strong alignment with evolving supply chain practice.

She is Academic Lead and a Board Director of the Humanitarian Logistics Association, and holds visiting roles at Université de Lorraine and Politecnico di Milano. Prior to joining Loughborough, she held academic posts at University College London and Aston University, alongside earlier industry experience in supply chain and operations. Her research focuses on supply chain design under high uncertainty, including disruption and resilience.

Dr Viktor Dörfler is Professor of AI Strategy at the University of Strathclyde Business School and an internationally recognised scholar, consultant, and speaker in artificial intelligence and human mastery. He also holds appointments as Research Professor at Corvinus University of Budapest and Visiting Professor at the University of Zagreb.

His research focuses on the relationship between AI and human expertise, including creativity, talent, and mastery at the highest levels of performance. Dr Dörfler has conducted in-depth research interviews with leading scientists, including Nobel Laureates, and brings extensive practical experience from designing and implementing AI systems. He is the author of What Every CEO Should Know About AI (Cambridge University Press).

Rachel Noll is a Manager in Data & AI at Argon & Co, a consultancy specialising in operations strategy and transformation.

She has over a decade of experience in operations technology, combining consultancy expertise with hands-on industry experience from roles at Ocado and HelloFresh. Rachel has led complex implementation programmes, greenfield product development, and the pragmatic adoption of AI to drive operational efficiency. Her work spans global teams and organisations, helping clients translate data and technology into tangible, scalable outcomes.

Tom Coker is Chief Operating Officer for Intangles in the UK and Europe, overseeing operations, strategic partnerships, and the company’s planned European expansion. Intangles delivers predictive maintenance solutions using physics-based AI and digital twin technology.

Previously, Tom served for eighteen years in the British Army in senior operational and leadership roles, including deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. He later helped establish NATO’s presence in Estonia, taught leadership and strategy at the Defence Academy of the UK, and contributed to the Welsh Government’s pandemic response.

Donato Masi is Professor of Supply Chain Management at the UK Supply Chain and Logistics Excellence (SCALE) Centre at Loughborough University, established in partnership with MIT Center for Transportation & Logistics.

He holds a PhD in Management Engineering and an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, and works closely with industry through publicly and privately funded research projects. His research focuses on how digitalisation and emerging AI technologies can enhance the sustainability of operations and supply chains.
