Scientific programme

The conference will have three major themes:

  1. The golfer
  2. Equipment and technology
  3. Data science and analytics

WSCG 2024 will take place alongside the 15th International Conference on the Engineering of Sport (ISEA 2024) enabling the two communities to share knowledge and experience. The Modelling and Swing Analysis sessions on Wednesday 10th will be open to delegates of both conferences to attend. In addition, plans are taking shape to spend a day at the Professional Golfers’ Association (PGA) headquarters at The Belfry, approximately 30 miles from Loughborough. The day will consist of a series of workshops, demos and an opportunity to play one of the golf courses.

A provisional outline programme for the conference, including the presentations scheduled for each session, can be found by expanding the headings below.
