Research groups and centres

Dr Albert Attom completed his PhD in Management at Sheffield University Management School and has research interests in the areas of international healthcare management, leadership, and organisational cultures. He focuses on impact research in emerging economies and collaborations with global institutions to use research outcomes to have a tangible impact on communities worldwide. Albert also uses his research to collaborate with organisations in the areas of policy development, capacity building and organisational effectiveness. He is currently undertaking an international impact case study focusing on healthcare digitalisation.

Albert has been the recipient of several large grants from bodies such as the Enterprise Projects Group (EPG) to support his impact research and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) for his innovative research work with DAC List countries around the world.

Albert is an experienced teacher who leads various leadership and HRM modules across the department, as well as teaching and supervising dissertations on the MBA Executive and Professional Education module.
