Dr Arman Mazhikeyev is an esteemed addition to the School, having joined in March 2024 to work on the development of the Midlands Regional Productivity Forum. With a robust academic and professional background, Arman brings extensive experience to his role. Prior to joining our university, he served as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Lincoln for over five years and held a postdoctoral position at University College Dublin for three years. He also has professional experience in the investment and enterprise development sector.
Arman's research interests are diverse and encompass various facets of economics, including international trade, barriers to trade, economic geography, regional trade agreements, special economic zones, gender inequality, energy economics, environmental economics, supply chain, circular economy, productivity and net zero.
