The scope of facilities available to the Foundation students allows for the invaluable immediate testing of new materials and processes. I remain very grateful for the right space and equipment provided on the Foundation course, which propelled the experimental direction of my practice. Additionally, I found that becoming familiar with the range of approaches on offer at Loughborough during the Foundation course meant that I was fully prepared to utilise the resources upon embarking on the BA.
