Disability accommodation for ONCAMPUS students

If you have any long-term physical or mental health conditions which affect your choice of accommodation, you must let us know of your needs as soon as possible. This way we can allocate you to a room that best meets your disability requirements.

Follow our simple step-by-step guide to tell us about your needs and book your accommodation.

Step 1 - Tell us about your needs

Contact the ONCAMPUS Loughborough Welfare Team to provide us with information about any physical or long-term mental health conditions you have and upload the required evidence.

Once the ONCAMPUS Loughborough Welfare Team have undertaken an assessment with you and provided recommendations to the accommodation team, we will consider your room requirements, and your preferences, when looking at room allocation for you.

Step 2 - Registration

Register an account on the Accommodation Hub.

You will receive an email from sac@lboro.ac.uk shortly after you pay your course deposit titled “Loughborough University accommodation application information 2024-25.” This email contains a 6-digit number beginning with ‘3’, use this as your Student ID to register your account on the Accommodation Hub.

You will also need to create your own username and password to access the accommodation login - please do not use a school/college email address as these may become inactive in the future.

Step 3 – Accept your accommodation offer

The Student Accommodation Centre will contact you with an accommodation offer of a room we believe meets your disability related requirements, and your personal preferences.

You will then need to log in to the Accommodation Hub to accept this offer within 5 days. By accepting the contract, you will be entering into a legally binding agreement with the University - your landlord.

You will then receive an email titled ‘Offer of accommodation accepted’ from sac@lboro.ac.uk you to confirm that you have successfully reserved your room. You can then complete our online Living in Halls induction and book an arrival slot.

Step 4 - Payment

Your first accommodation payment is required on arrival to your accommodation in September 2024 through the Student Fee Payments webpage. You will be contacted with further details about the amount required and how to make payment.

If you have accepted your contract and wish to make an early payment for your accommodation, you can do so on the Student Fee Payments webpage. Please enter your Student ID as it appears on your Accommodation Hub homepage (this will start with an F) and ensure that the amount you enter to pay matches your accommodation contract.
