Faraday

Though I didn’t initially get my first choice of halls, I am so glad that I accepted the room I was offered – I even decided to return to the same hall for my second year!

As a fussy eater, I am very happy with the wide selection of options in catering, in fact it was one of the reasons I chose to return to halls. With full fry ups, croissants and fresh fruit (and more) available every morning you're spoiled for choice – I guarantee if you were shopping for yourself this would not be the case!

The other reason I returned to halls is the social aspect. Throughout the year there is numerous ‘high tables’, social events, wellbeing activities and IMS sport events – the social possibilities are literally right on your doorstep! There are endless ways to make new friends, meet new people and allow yourself to grow as a person too.

Another major bonus of living in halls is obviously the location – I have very often rolled out of bed at 8:50AM and made it on time for my 9AM lecture – a luxury I didn’t want to give up just to live in town!
