MEDLINE is the U.S. National Library of Medicine® (NLM) bibliographic database containing references to journal articles in life sciences with a concentration on biomedicine. MEDLINE contains comprehensive coverage of information on medicine, nursing, clinical psychology, the health care system, pre-clinical sciences, and much more. Created by the NLM there is a US bias in the resources offered.

PsycARTICLES

PsycARTICLES is a collection of full-text articles from journals published by the American Psychological Association, and allied partners such as the Canadian Psychological Association. The database covers general psychology and applied, clinical and theoretical research in psychology.

PsycINFO

PsycINFO is an indexing and abstracting database summarising journal articles, dissertations, book chapters, books and technical reports from 1887 to the present. The content centres on psychology and the behavioural and social sciences, drawing content from peer-reviewed journals. The database has global coverage and virtually all the content from 1995 onwards contain abstracts.

ScienceDirect

Science Direct provides full-text access to Elsevier journals and books, including reference works and encyclopaedias. Some of the digital archives go as far back as 1823. Subject coverage is mainly in the fields of life sciences and medicine but there is also coverage of social sciences, psychology, business and finance.

Scopus is an abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature: academic journals, books and conference proceedings. Scopus is a comprehensive resource covering chemistry, physics, mathematics and engineering; life and health sciences; social sciences, psychology, business and economics; arts and humanities and biological and environmental sciences. It also includes the Geobase database.
