Loughborough University-based Tully Kearney finished 5th in the Women’s S5 50m Backstroke Final on day six of the Paralympic Games in Paris.

The 27-year-old clocked 43.40 seconds as China’s Dong Lu took gold (37.51). Fellow China athlete Shenggao He took silver (39.93).

Kearney, the two-time Paris gold medallist, qualified 6th fastest before this evening’s final but sadly couldn’t add to her golds in the 100m and 200m Freestyle events.
