Now Open for Bookings – Join Us at Our Summer Futures Fair!

We are thrilled to announce our first mini Summer Futures Fair on Thursday 30th April, 10am – 3pm.

As the final Fair of the academic year, this event is uniquely tailored to facilitate immediate connections between employers and students. This Fair is specifically for employers with LIVE vacancies. Unlike our larger events, this mini Fair offers an intimate, conversational atmosphere focused on your immediate recruitment needs for:

  • Graduate Roles (Immediate starts)
  • Placement Positions
  • Summer Internships
  • Part-time work

Please contact employer.services@mailbox.lboro.ac.uk with any questions and a member of the team will get back to you.

We were absolutely thrilled to see so many students were interested in internship and graduate roles at our organisation. Stands had enough space for representatives and students to chat. Large tables. Employers not too close to each other, the organising team managed to optimise the use of the space

Very supportive events team - they made sure we had everything we needed

Help our events to be more sustainable

The University takes its responsibility for the environment seriously and understands the need to respond to the challenges we face globally around issues such as climate change, human wellbeing, food, water and energy security.

Please help us to respond to these challenges by making greener choices when it comes to your event. This can be achieved by:

  • Bring a reusable travel cup and a water bottle with you. We have water fountains and refreshments available at the Fair for you to refill.
  • Avoiding single-use plastics in giveaways/merchandise.
  • Reduce waste by using reusable resources that can be used at other events.
  • Using public transport when visiting the University. A train station is situated 10 minutes away from the university, and buses run regularly onto campus.
  • Avoid food items that are individually wrapped in plastic. Instead, bring items in recyclable or re-useable packaging.
  • Reduce carbon emissions by phasing out merchandise made from textiles, like tote bags.
  • Favour products manufactured from recycled materials rather than virgin material.
