GPU Workstations

Professional Grade Nvidia GPU workstations, containing specialized processors originally designed to accelerate graphics rendering. GPUs can process many pieces of data simultaneously, making them useful for machine learning and 3D visualisation.

High-performance Computing

High performance computing (HPC) is the practice of aggregating computing resources to gain performance greater than that of a single workstation, server, or computer. HPC can take the form of custom-built supercomputers or groups of individual computers called clusters. A service will be developed for use by undergraduate and postgraduate taught students to complete the University’s existing research facilities.
