Loughborough’s MArch programme has accreditation by the Architects Registration Board (ARB) under the ‘Tomorrows Architects’ Framework (subject to the University meeting the ARB’s ongoing accreditation conditions). It provides exemption from the first stages of ‘Academic Outcomes’ required to qualify and register as an architect* under the ARB Framework. It also has validation by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA).

*Applicants should note that under the current transitional arrangements, that prior to 2028, candidates without a Part 1 qualification (e.g. a Bachelor of Architecture degree) will still need separately to obtain a Part 1 qualification by professional examination, and demonstrate the ‘Practice Outcomes’ to enable registration with the ARB and RIBA.
