The School of Design and Creative Arts at Loughborough University boasts strong industry links. As part of the Human Factors and Ergonomics for Patient Safety programme, you will be encouraged to undertake your main project in the field, to gain realistic experiences and learning. Programme content has a strong practitioner bias, where learning provides vocational training towards a career as an ergonomist or human factors expert.

Successful completion of this programme will enable you to become a professional ergonomics or human factors practitioner. The broad nature of the programme also opens up possibilities in other scientific and research careers.
