George Torrens has been a practicing Industrial designer for the last 40 years. He has been involved in inclusive sports products and has worked closely with international inclusive sports coach Ken Black as well as coaches from Boccia England and Special Olympics GB.

Patrick's expertise ranges from Industrial Design, Design for Digital Fabrication, Design Education & Design research. He is currently the Principal Investigator for the EPSRC-funded UK Design for AM Network, the AHRC-funded When Design Never Ends and a Royal Society Exchange Programme.
