Allan is a cultural-economic geographer with research interests that focus on the geographies of the creative and cultural economy, and specifically the music, film and media industries. His teaching examines economic globalization with a particular focus on cities and the cultural economy.

Marco’s research follows three major strands of western geopolitical thought, territorial identities, and living together in diversity. His teaching brings together his interest in the geographies of power, territory, identity and nationalism.
