Your facilities
Over the past few years there has been considerable investment in facilities and learning resources across the sciences, including the opening of our state-of-the-art STEMLab. As a Loughborough University student your student experience will be enhanced by access these wide-ranging facilities.
We offer computer laboratories, including specialist facilities for student work on robotics, networking, and imaging technology, as well as facilities for CAD, modelling, optics, 3D laser-printing, materials processing, testing, analysis, electron microscopy, x-ray, thermal and surface analysis. We also have our own campus observatory. All students can benefit from the Mathematics Learning Support Centre which offers free advice and daily drop-in sessions for mathematics and statistics.

Mathematics Learning Support Centre (MLSC)
At university you may encounter challenging mathematics, regardless of the subject you are studying. Our Mathematics Learning Support Centre (MLSC) provides award-winning free mathematics and statistics support for all undergraduate students.
Experienced mathematics and statistics tutors are available between 11am-1pm and 2pm-4pm Monday-Friday for one-to-one or group support. The space can also be used for quiet independent or group study, as well as providing textbooks, computers, leaflets and workbooks.
