This degree is accredited by the Joint Board of Moderators (JBM), comprising the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE), Institute of Highway Engineers (IHE), the Permanent Way Institution (PWI), and the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation (CIHT) on behalf of the Engineering Council as: 

• fully satisfying the educational base for an Incorporated Engineer (IEng).
• partially satisfying the educational base for a Chartered Engineer (CEng).
