The programme is currently seeking accreditation by the ARB (Architects Registration Board) under its new ‘Tomorrow’s Architects’ accreditation framework, and will also be seeking validation by RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects).
ARB accreditation is an external process undertaken by a professional regulatory body, and is awarded before the course starts. At this stage in the ARB process this cannot be guaranteed. Prospective entrants will be updated on the accreditation status, or any changes to the expected timescale for accreditation, as soon as reasonably practical, following notification of any decision by the ARB. This is currently scheduled and expected for Spring 2027.
RIBA validation is a separate process and is undertaken retrospectively once the first students have graduated, hence this also currently cannot be guaranteed. If RIBA validation is successful, this will be backdated to cover the students who joined in the initial cohorts.
