Ranked first in the UK for Graduate Prospects in Architecture (Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2026), we have an unparalleled track record in getting students where they want to be.

Latest data from HESA (2026) confirms that, against the national average employability rate of 85% within 18 months of graduation, 91.7% of our students were successfully placed in higher level work or graduate study, and 100% of those were in professional areas directly related to their chosen degree.

Students are aided along this pathway through regular exposure to members of our network of over 600 supporting architects through design reviews and mock-interviews, including the option of a year in placement managed by a dedicated placement team, as well as through the School Careers Fair. In recent years over 50 companies have attended this fair, including major international consulting and contracting companies but also more local and specialist firms.

Some of our students, of course, choose not to go directly into the architectural profession, but instead have used the wide range of skills they developed during their degrees to embark on careers in sustainability consultancy, AI, graphic design, and even theatre design.
