This degree is accredited by the Joint Board of Moderators (JBM), comprising the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE), Institute of Highway Engineers (IHE), the Permanent Way Institution (PWI), and the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation (CIHT) on behalf of the Engineering Council as fully satisfying the educational base for a Chartered Engineer (CEng).
Working in collaboration with the academics, the Industrial Advisory Board provides strategic perspective and experience with a view to maximise employability and opportunities for our students. The Board includes industrial members drawn from the School’s links with industry. These will include sponsors, employers of year-out students, employers of graduates, research and enterprise links, encompassing various sectors of the industry and regional representatives of accrediting bodies.
