The Department of Mathematical Sciences is located in the Schofield Building, which is based centrally on the University campus. The building has recently undergone a £4.3 million refurbishment to equip it with dedicated resources for mathematics students.
As a student within the Department of Mathematical Sciences you will benefit from 24/7 access to state-of-the-art computer labs in the Schofield Building and also from our co-location with the Mathematics Learning Support Centre.
The course carries the option of undertaking a year-long placement or a year abroad studying at one of our partner institutions.
