  • The smart cities theme and digital ethos, which run across the course, maximises the employability of our students by targeting the needs of future cities and city makers
  • This course comes with the option to work in industry for a year on an approved placement, leading do a Diploma in Industrial Studies (DIS)
  • This course comes with the option to study abroad for a year, at the end of which you will gain a Diploma in International Studies (DIntS)
  • Unique opportunity to study and learn in an integrated School, leading to various group projects that mimic real-life work scenarios
  • Our students investigate planning in practice in real-life situations at different scales, including our Loughborough University campus (our ‘living laboratory’)
  • Our students normally also go on various integrated field trips to investigate the urban environments of our local cities: Leicester, Derby and Nottingham
