If you want to develop your understanding of the world, including its many social and political challenges, you should investigate our courses in Social Sciences and Humanities. But, whatever you decide to study, your time at Loughborough University, is an excellent chance to engage with like-minded students who also want to change the world for the better!
What subject is right for you?
To get to grips with the big issues, you might like to study courses in International Relations, Politics, and History, or a degree in Criminology or Sociology. Perhaps you want to know what makes people tick. If so, we offer courses in Psychology. If you want to understand the power of Communication and Media, consider our degree course of the same name!
Look into our Sport Management degree and some of our business courses are you will find modules exploring sport policy, inclusion, and social corporate responsibility - enabling you to become an agent for change. The Creative Arts provide an excellent opportunity to get creative in the way you express your message!
At Loughborough University you will also be able to connect with other students who are just as passionate as you about the issues that matter most. The Students' Union is a great place to start - with opportunities to represent your fellow students, or to get involved in practical "Action" volunteering projects.
