At Loughborough University, we have courses in Business and Economics that aim to give you the business acumen you need to succeed – but that’s only half the story. Our Enterprise Network has a long track record of nurturing young entrepreneurs, and students from all kinds of subjects have gone on to become successful business people - crediting the start of their success to their time at Loughborough!

What subject is right for you?

Being your own boss, running your own business - skills in management, finance and accounting, business planning, and organisation are going to be a big help. Check out the courses run by Loughborough's highly-rated School of Business and Economics, and the joint honours courses combining computing and management, maths and finance.

Most enterprises begin with an idea. Perhaps the product you create during your time with our Design School will be the beginning of a business - one that can grow with the support of our Enterprise Network, giving you vital help and advice to take your idea to the marketplace. All our courses develop the so-called "soft skills" (time management, communication, presentation) that will help you in whatever you go on to do.

Being with a diverse mix of inspiring people from all over the world who also have ideas, skills and talents of their own, it's not surprising that students from all kinds of disciplines have their "big idea" at Loughborough - and go on to become successful entrepreneurs.
