Every student at Loughborough has a Personal Tutor who sticks with the same students throughout their whole time at the University. They are responsible for the pastoral care of each student, and are always there to answer any questions that a student may have.
This has allowed me to develop a strong relationship with mine, and I feel comfortable going to her with any issues I have, whether they are academic or personal. I am also frequently emailed by the School's Well-being Advisor to remind me that they are always there to help.
I am the School President for Geography and Environment which means that I am responsible, along with the Course Representatives, for taking feedback from students to the staff. We are there to support students to get their opinions across to the subject area, so that we can make changes if necessary.
